The United States will facilitate new discussions between Israel and Lebanon on Thursday, April 23, in an attempt to avoid the resumption of conflict, after a ceasefire considered fragile. A State Department official stated that the discussions will be conducted in good faith between the two governments. The ceasefire was negotiated by the U.S., but the situation remains unstable, and the time for maintaining peace is limited. Meanwhile, tensions between the U.S. and Iran are rising, with both countries warning that they are prepared for conflict, in the context of uncertainties related to the negotiations announced by President Donald Trump. Iran accuses the U.S. of violating the ceasefire, which further complicates the situation. Against the backdrop of these tensions, oil prices have fallen, and the British government is preparing a plan to accelerate clean energy, which will include the expansion of renewable sources.
