The military plane transporting the American Secretary of Defense, Pete Hegseth, made an unscheduled landing in the United Kingdom during the return from a NATO meeting due to a crack in the windshield. The Pentagon spokesperson, Sean Parnell, confirmed that the landing was carried out according to standard procedures and that all passengers, including Hegseth, are safe. This is not the first time that American military aircraft transporting high-ranking officials encounter mechanical issues; a similar incident occurred earlier when a U.S. Air Force plane transporting Secretary of State Marco Rubio was forced to return to Washington due to a malfunction.
