An apparent suicide note of Jeffrey Epstein was published, containing statements about the investigations against him and a farewell message.

An apparent suicide note written by Jeffrey Epstein was published on Wednesday, at the request of The New York Times, by a federal judge. The note was discovered in Epstein's cell after his death in 2019 and was presented to the court in the criminal case of his former cellmate, Nicholas Tartaglione.

Tartaglione claimed that Epstein wrote the note after a failed suicide attempt a few weeks before his death.

The note contains statements such as "They investigated for a month – found nothing!!!" and phrases like "time to say goodbye" and "it's not fun – it doesn't deserve it!!" In 2008, Epstein pleaded guilty to prostitution charges, and in 2019 he was accused of sex trafficking of minors. His death was ruled a suicide, and his connections to influential people are now under scrutiny, following the release of documents by the Department of Justice.
