The military plane of the Spanish Minister of Defense was disrupted near Kaliningrad on its way to Lithuania.

The military plane carrying the Spanish Minister of Defense, Margarita Robles, was jammed on Wednesday morning near Kaliningrad, on its way to Lithuania, announced the Ministry of Defense in Madrid. The aircraft was also transporting relatives of the Spanish pilots from the NATO Vilkas mission, however, the flight was not affected due to encrypted navigation systems. The incident follows similar cases, including that of Ursula von der Leyen's plane, and countries such as Estonia and Finland have accused Russia of frequently jamming GPS signals in the Baltic Sea region.
