The historic royal exhibition dedicated to Queen Elizabeth II will include approximately 200 objects, half of which have not been publicly displayed until now. It will illustrate the life of the monarch and her 70-year reign, with Elizabeth being the longest-reigning monarch in British history. Among the important pieces is a dress worn by Princess Elizabeth at the age of 8 and significant creations by designer Norman Hartnell, including the green gown worn at an official banquet in 1957. The exhibition will offer visitors a glimpse into the queen's private wardrobe, including travel clothes and avant-garde items, such as a transparent cape from the 1960s. There will also be works by contemporary designers influenced by the queen's style, thus highlighting her legacy in a modern way.
