Poland has urged its citizens in Belarus to leave the country "immediately" amid rising tensions with Russia.

The Polish Embassy in Minsk has issued a warning for Polish citizens in Belarus, recommending that they leave the country immediately, in the context of the deteriorating security situation in the region. Tensions between NATO and Russia have increased, with reports of airspace violations and arbitrary arrests of Poles. Although Belarus is not directly involved in the invasion of Ukraine, it has supported Russian actions, including by allowing the use of its territory for military operations.
