The Pentagon has announced that it has begun the release of new files related to UFOs, thus allowing citizens to form their own opinions about 'unidentified anomalous phenomena'. This initiative is coordinated by the White House, the director of national intelligence, the Department of Energy, NASA, and the FBI.
In a post on X, the Pentagon emphasized that, unlike previous administrations that tried to discredit information, President Donald Trump promotes maximum transparency. The Pentagon has promised to continue releasing additional documents, and Trump initiated this effort back in February.
Although the Pentagon has been working for many years on declassifying this information, its 2024 report identified hundreds of incidents involving UAP, without finding evidence that the US government has confirmed sightings of extraterrestrial technology.
