The Pentagon has declassified a new batch of UFO files

The Pentagon published, on October 23, the seventh batch of files about unidentified aerial phenomena. The documents include the 2002 statement by Walter Haut, a former public relations officer at Roswell Air Force Base, as well as a report about alleged creatures observed at Skinwalker Ranch in Utah.

Haut claimed that, in July 1947, he saw fragments recovered from a ranch located approximately 64 kilometers from Roswell. He described pieces resembling very thin but extremely strong metal foil, some bearing unusual markings. In a guarded hangar, the former officer said he observed an egg-shaped metallic craft, without portholes, wings, or landing gear, as well as two bodies hidden under a tarp.

At the time, the local press reported the capture of a “flying disc,” but the U.S. military later claimed that the debris came from a weather balloon.

A second document presents an investigation carried out in 2010 by Bigelow Aerospace Advanced Space Studies as part of a program funded by the Pentagon. Witnesses at Skinwalker Ranch described small, hairy creatures, worm- or pterodactyl-like forms, and glowing spheres. However, the publication of the reports does not confirm these accounts. The hair collected at the ranch proved to have come from animals. Haut’s statement had also been made public before, and researchers contested the authenticity of his interpretation.
