This measure was justified by concerns about the transfer of critical technologies to Beijing. The president of Wingtech has been suspended, and the company's shares fell by 10% on the Shanghai stock exchange. The Netherlands argues that the loss of these technological capabilities could affect Europe's economic security. Government control will restrict management decisions, but production will continue.
