At an auction in Las Vegas, the supercar Gordon Murray S1 LM was sold for a record sum of 20.6 million dollars, thus becoming the most expensive car ever traded. The auction took place in the same weekend as the Formula 1 Grand Prix. The S1 LM is a rare model, produced in only 5 units, which pays homage to the McLaren F1 GTR. This supercar is equipped with a naturally aspirated 4.3-liter V12 engine, capable of developing 690 horsepower, featuring a manual transmission and an exhaust system covered with 18-karat gold foil. Its design includes only 3 seats, with the driver's seat placed centrally, highlighting the exclusivity and top engineering of this vehicle.
