The Ministry of Foreign Affairs reminds Romanian citizens about the travel warning of level 6/9 for Madagascar, recommending the avoidance of non-essential travel. Due to violent protests, flights are suspended without a clear date for the resumption of normal flight schedules. Citizens in Madagascar are advised to follow the instructions of local authorities and to avoid protest areas. Consular assistance is available through the Romanian Embassy in Pretoria.
