The Louvre Museum in Paris had 9 million visitors in 2025, an increase from 8.7 million in 2024, thus surpassing the level of 2023. This recovery comes after a decline in the number of visitors in the summer of 2024, influenced by the Olympic Games. Among the visitors, 27% were French and 73% were foreign, with 40% coming from outside the European Union. Starting from January 14, foreign visitors will pay a differentiated fee of 32 euros. The 'Louvre Couture' exhibition was a success, attracting over a million visitors. Although the museum is facing a strike by employees due to working conditions, it remains partially open, providing access to famous masterpieces.
