The former library director from Wyoming, dismissed following a scandal involving books with sexual content and LGBTQ+ themes, will receive $700,000 as part of a legal settlement.

Terri Lesley was fired as the director of the library system in northeastern Campbell County, Wyoming in 2023, after two years of dispute related to the books in the Gillette library. Following her dismissal, Lesley sued the county and reached a settlement, under which she receives $700,000.
