The Huajiang Grand Canyon Bridge in China will become the highest and longest bridge in the region, passing the final safety test with 96 heavy trucks.

With a height of 625 meters and a total length of approximately 2,900 meters, the bridge will become the tallest in the world and the longest in a mountainous region. The construction involved overcoming major engineering challenges, such as stabilizing steep slopes and controlling extreme weather conditions. The inauguration is scheduled for September 2025, and the bridge will reduce the travel time between the towns of Liuzhi and Anlong from two hours to just two minutes.
