This measure, supported by Democrats and some Republicans, was passed with 215 votes in favor and 208 against, highlighting a growing disapproval of Trump's handling of the conflict.

Republican Congressmen Thomas Massie, Brian Fitzpatrick, Tom Barrett, and Warren Davidson voted against the party line, arguing that voters are frustrated by the impact of the war on the economy. Massie emphasized that people are fed up with high fuel costs and the effects on agriculture.

The resolution, introduced by Democrat Gregory Meeks, does not require the president's signature and, although it does not have the force of law, it is considered to potentially have legal implications. This is a continuation of Congress's opposition to Trump's agenda, which has recently included contesting controversial funding.
