The Department for Government Efficiency (DOGE), created by Donald Trump and initially led by Elon Musk, was disbanded eight months before the end of the president's term. The initiative, launched to reduce the size of government, did not yield significant savings, according to critics. Scott Kupor, the director of the Office of Personnel Management, confirmed the disappearance of DOGE, stating that there is no longer a "centralized entity." The functions of DOGE have been taken over by the federal government's human resources office.

Although Trump and his advisors promoted DOGE on social media, Musk could not prove the claimed savings, as the agency did not provide clear public data. Additionally, hiring in the administration was suspended, and former DOGE employees took on roles in other government agencies. The administration continues to work on reducing regulations, with a focus on using AI technology to analyze and eliminate inefficient regulations.
