The French official mentioned Marco Rubio's absence due to Venezuela-related issues, emphasizing efforts to bring the US closer to Europe without abandoning support for Ukraine. France and the United Kingdom, the coordinators of the meeting, aim to reach a consensus on five essential themes, including monitoring mechanisms for a potential ceasefire, military support for Ukraine, and the establishment of a multinational reassurance force. The President of Romania, Nicușor Dan, will participate in this important event.
