A woman in France has been conned into paying €830,000 for medical treatment for her alleged boyfriend Brad Pitt.

Anne, a 53-year-old woman, was scammed by a fake social media account claiming to belong to Brad Pitt. The person asked for large sums of money for various medical expenses, and Anne transferred €830,000 to the scammers' account. After seeing photos of Pitt and his new partner, Anne realized she had been scammed. The situation sparked a wave of online criticism and the TV show about her was pulled. TF1 said Anne had mental health problems, including severe depression.
