The authorities in Saudi Arabia have announced the suspension of vehicle traffic on network X, citing precautionary measures following Iranian attacks targeting the Eastern Province. This region is crucial as the 25-kilometer bridge is the only road link between Bahrain, where the U.S. 5th Fleet is located, and the Arabian Peninsula.

In the context of rising tensions, U.S. President Donald Trump issued an ultimatum to Iran, demanding the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz. Trump threatened that if Iran does not comply by Tuesday at 8:00 PM, he will bomb Iranian power plants and bridges. This situation underscores the escalation of the conflict and the risks to regional security.
