On Monday morning, an AH-1S Cobra attack helicopter crashed during a training exercise aimed at familiarizing crews with emergency landing procedures. The accident occurred 55 kilometers from the capital of South Korea, according to the Yonhap agency. The two officers on board were urgently transported to the hospital in cardiac arrest, but unfortunately, the doctors were unable to save their lives. Authorities stated that the crash was not accompanied by fires or explosions. As a result of this incident, all AH-1S Cobra helicopter flights have been suspended, and a special investigation committee has been established to determine the exact cause of the accident.
