In the Strait of Hormuz, gunfire has been reported after at least two ships attempted to cross this essential maritime route. The Reuters news agency, citing maritime sources, emphasized that Iran has canceled a temporary reopening of the strait, accusing the United States of not respecting the ceasefire agreement.

This situation has arisen in the context where several ships had begun to navigate this route, marking a 'first major movement' since the beginning of the conflict. The initially formed convoy has started to disperse, according to tracking data from the MarineTraffic platform, suggesting an escalation of tensions in the area.
