The Federal Reserve of the United States is at a critical moment ahead of the monetary policy meeting, with tensions arising from a court challenge regarding the dismissal of Governor Lisa Cook, as well as the vote for the confirmation of Stephen Miran, nominated by Trump. Analysts anticipate a reduction in the monetary policy interest rate, but the changes could redefine the Fed's independence. The dispute could reach the Supreme Court, and at the center of concerns remain the labor market and inflation, which exceeds the 2% target.
