The Ukrainian and American delegations concluded a round of discussions in Florida on Sunday, aimed at finding ways to end the war with Russia, according to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.
Russian representatives did not participate in the negotiations, and the American delegation was led by special envoy Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner. Zelensky emphasized that U.S. attention is focused on the situation in Iran, but insisted that the war in Ukraine must end. He called on Western supporters to maintain pressure on Russia through new sanctions, including the seizure of ships from Russia's "shadow fleet." The last round of negotiations took place in Geneva and ended without significant progress, with Russia refusing Ukraine's requests to cede territories. Zelensky stated that any territorial concession must be validated by a referendum, which would reject the cession of Donbas.
