Switzerland has adopted a new sanctions package, expanding the list of targeted individuals and entities, including from Moldova and Belarus.

The Swiss government has implemented its 18th sanctions package, extending measures against Russia, Moldova and Belarus. The sanctions include 14 individuals and 41 entities in Russia, which will have their assets frozen and entry bans. 105 vessels in the Russian fleet have also been restricted. Switzerland lowered the price ceiling for Russian crude oil and imposed additional sanctions against entities in Moldova and Belarus aimed at influencing elections and referendums.
