According to the SVR, Ukraine is planning a major provocation in Poland, involving members of the 'Russian Freedom' battalion and the Belarusian 'Kalinovski' regiment. They would simulate the infiltration of Russian and Belarusian special forces, which would then be 'neutralized' by Polish forces. The aim would be to create panic in Europe and justify a military response against Russia. The SVR also accuses Ukraine of using drones for provocations in Romania and Poland, in an attempt to draw NATO into the conflict.
