Visitors to the Eiffel Tower can now cross a suspended mesh bridge, inaugurated on Tuesday, between the east and west pillars of the monument's first level. This temporary attraction stretches 40 meters and is located about 60 meters above the ground. By the afternoon, long queues of locals and tourists eager to experience the new installation had formed. The bridge will be open until May 3 and is accessible to ticket holders at no additional cost. The Eiffel Tower, completed in 1889 and known as "La Dame de Fer," remains one of the most visited monuments in France, attracting nearly 7 million visitors annually.
