SpaceX will pay 17 billion dollars for the rights to use the EchoStar spectrum, enhancing satellite mobile phone services.

The acquisition will strengthen Starlink's capabilities, providing the ability to ensure mobile connections even in isolated areas. SpaceX intends to use the spectrum for communication services directly on mobile phones, in partnership with T-Mobile. It is the largest agreement in the company's history and will support the global expansion of satellite telecommunications services.
