Kim Keon Hee, the former First Lady of South Korea, is facing charges of corruption and stock fraud and special prosecutors have requested an arrest warrant. The charges include manipulating share prices and receiving luxury gifts, as well as interfering in the electoral process. If the warrant is approved, it would be the first time in South Korean history that both a former president and former first lady are arrested simultaneously. Former president Yoon Suk Yeol is also under investigation for attempts to establish military rule.
