South Korea announces a 100 million dollar aid for Ukraine, but excludes the delivery of lethal weapons.

South Korea announced at the NATO summit in Ankara that it will provide Ukraine with a non-lethal aid package worth 100 million dollars.

In a press conference, South Korea's national security advisor, Wi Sung Lac, stated that South Korea will continue to collaborate with the international community to support Ukraine. However, he emphasized that his country will not provide lethal weapons.

The announcement coincided with South Korea's participation in the NATO summit, where negotiations began for a framework agreement on procurement, facilitating the involvement of South Korean companies in the NATO defense market. Wi Sung Lac explained that the agreement will regulate the legal and administrative aspects of cooperation, and President Lee proposed a South Korea-NATO Defense Industry Partnership 2.0, which would include collaboration in research and production.
