South Korea's defense ministry has announced a halt to the dissemination of propaganda on the border with North Korea as part of the new president's pledge to restore trust between the two nations. Relations have been strained in recent years, particularly under former president Yoon Suk Yeol, who took a tough stance against Pyongyang. The decision to halt the broadcasts comes after a period of escalating tensions and mutual threats.
