The South Korean Ministry of Foreign Affairs emphasized that Russia's invasion of Ukraine is considered an illegal act and informed Russia of its position regarding this incident. The Russian ambassador to Seoul recently mentioned the contribution of North Korean troops to the war, which has heightened Seoul's concerns about North Korea's involvement in the war, especially after the ratification of a defense treaty between Russia and North Korea.
