Coral Hart, the pseudonym of a South African author, has published 371 books since February 2025, using artificial intelligence in the creative process. The woman claims that the method has brought her more than one million books sold and revenues of over one million dollars in 2026, but she has become the target of harsh criticism and death threats.
The author, who has 14 years of publishing experience, says she needed three months to learn how to work with several artificial intelligence models and build a system capable of generating books. She uses ChatGPT for dialogue, Claude for prose, and other tools for erotic scenes.
The process does not consist of simply giving a command to a chatbot. Coral Hart establishes the narrative concept, style, characters, and chapter structure, then generates a first draft. The text is subsequently checked for coherence and continuity, while a human editor reviews the content and rewrites certain passages.
Most of the titles are niche books, identified through market analysis. One of her novels reached the Amazon top 100. The author is now preparing the launch of Autorythm, AI-based authoring software, and says she is ready to publicly defend the use of technology in literature.
