The Slovenian Deputy Prime Minister Matej Arcon announced that Slovenia is preparing a bill to ban access to social networks for minors under the age of 15.

The initiative, launched by the Ministry of Education, is part of a broader trend in Europe to regulate young people's access to platforms like TikTok, Instagram, and Snapchat, for reasons related to mental health protection and children's well-being. Similar measures have been proposed or adopted in other European countries such as Spain, Greece, and Italy.
