The Slovenian government has decided to ban imports of goods from settlements in the occupied Palestinian territories, stressing that such actions are in contradiction with international humanitarian law. Prime Minister Robert Golob condemned illegal settlement building and other Israeli actions as threats to Palestinian dignity and international order. Slovenia becomes the first EU country to ban all arms trade with Israel in the context of the humanitarian crisis in Gaza.
