The authorities in Singapore have banned the British band Massive Attack from performing in the city-state after two members of the group displayed a Palestinian flag and chanted "Free Palestine" during a concert. The police stated that the organizers were aware of the conditions imposed by the authorities, but the artists violated the rules prohibiting the public display of foreign flags without authorization.

Following the investigation, the two band members received severe warnings and a ban on returning to Singapore. Massive Attack is known for its pro-Palestinian positions and for criticizing Israel's military actions in Gaza, and one of the band's founders, Robert Del Naja, has previously participated in protests supporting the Palestinian cause in Great Britain.
