The Bernalillo County Sheriff's Office has issued a Silver Alert for the disappearance of William Neil McCasland, an aerospace engineer with a remarkable career in sensitive projects for the Department of Defense, including the Global Positioning System Program. Searches have been extensive, involving local authorities, the FBI, and personnel from Kirtland Air Force Base, using drones, tracking dogs, and helicopters.

So far, investigators have interviewed over 600 people, but have found no evidence of a crime. McCasland's disappearance occurred shortly after a post by Donald Trump regarding documents related to aliens and UFOs, which has generated additional interest in his case.
