Police in London have charged seven Iranian nationals with grievous bodily harm after a violent incident outside the Iranian embassy.

The incident took place during a demonstration against the Iranian regime, resulting in the serious injury of a man, who is not in life-threatening danger, and others. The police arrested eight individuals, seven of whom, all Iranian nationals, have been charged with grievous bodily harm and are remanded in custody to be brought before the court. Investigations are continuing to clarify the circumstances of the altercation.
