Sandulović's family says he was beaten after he apologized for crimes committed by Serbs against ethnic Albanians during the Kosovo war. Lawyers have lodged an urgent case with the UN Committee against Torture, demanding Sandulović be transferred to a civilian hospital. He is under arrest for incitement to national, racial and religious hatred.
