OpenAI CEO Sam Altman has reacted to comments from Elon Musk, who warned that the OpenAI-Microsoft partnership could negatively affect the tech giant. Musk posted on X that OpenAI would "eat Microsoft alive," while Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella adopted a conciliatory tone. The rivalry between Altman and Musk dates back to 2015, when they co-founded OpenAI, but Musk later expressed dissatisfaction with the organization's transformation into a profitable company. Altman suggested Musk's proposed takeover of OpenAI was an attempt to slow down a competitor.
