Rwanda has confirmed that it received seven deported migrants from the USA

The transfer took place in August, according to a deportation agreement with the USA. Yolande Makolo, the spokesperson for the Rwandan government, stated that the seven migrants were "screened in advance" and that "three of them expressed their desire to return to their countries of origin, while the other four wish to stay and build their lives in Rwanda."
