Russia's attacks on Ukraine's gas infrastructure severely affect the country's ability to fill its stocks before winter, which will lead to an increase in gas imports from neighboring states. Although global liquefied natural gas (LNG) supply could mitigate the impact on prices, the increased demand from Ukraine will put pressure on the European market, which is already facing challenges due to declining Russian exports. This situation could lead to an increase in natural gas prices in Europe, especially under unfavorable weather conditions.
