Sergei Narashkin, director of the Russian foreign intelligence service (SVR), confirmed a telephone conversation with his US counterpart, John Ratcliffe, underlining their readiness to discuss topics of mutual interest. This is the second conversation between the two, taking place amid a recent rapprochement between Moscow and Washington.
