A commercial vessel under the flag of Guinea-Bissau, carrying grain, was hit on Sunday by three Russian missiles while leaving a combat zone, according to the Ukrainian navy. The attack resulted in the death of five sailors, and the fate of another five crew members, consisting of Syrians, Indians, and a Ukrainian captain, remains uncertain.

The Ukrainian navy condemned the attack, describing it as an act of terrorism against civilian navigation, emphasizing that the ship did not pose a military threat. On the same day, Russia launched approximately twenty missiles at Kyiv, causing one fatality and 16 injuries.

The Turkish Foreign Minister stated that his country does not wish to escalate the conflict in the Black Sea and will continue negotiations with both parties.
