Ukraine has admitted that a Russian hypersonic missile hit the Starokostiantiniv Starokostiantiniv air base after the Dutch announced the delivery of F-16 jets.

The attack came as the Netherlands is to deliver more F-16s to Ukraine and the Ukrainian air force shot down two Kinjal missiles in the Kiev region. Air defenses also shot down 32 Russian drones and disabled 37 others, suggesting the use of electronic warfare systems.
