Sergei Ryabkov said that the Russian bombers damaged during Operation 'Spider's Web' were not destroyed, only damaged and will be restored. The Ukrainian operation, carried out on June 1, targeted Russian air bases and damaged 41 aircraft, including strategic bombers. Despite varying damage estimates, Zelenski said many of the damaged aircraft would not be easily repaired. Russia faces technological challenges and economic sanctions that could affect the repair process.
