Russia has threatened that it will continue hostilities in Ukraine if Kiev does not comply with its demands, in the context of a new round of negotiations in Abu Dhabi.

Ukrainian negotiator, Rustem Umerov, stated that the discussions were productive, after the conclusion of the first day of talks, which will resume on Thursday. There is also expected to be a new prisoner exchange with Russia in the "near future," announced President Zelensky.

Despite the negotiations, Russian attacks have continued, targeting energy infrastructure and railways, causing significant damage. Russia insists on the withdrawal of Ukrainian soldiers from eastern Donetsk, but Kiev refuses to give up these territories.
