The recent removal of some Iranian officials has generated a swift reaction in Russia, where security services temporarily disabled certain surveillance systems to prevent possible breaches. These measures were taken following an operation attributed to Israel, which used artificial intelligence to analyze video streams from Iran, locating key figures of the regime. This technological development has raised concerns about the vulnerability of surveillance systems, which, although designed for protection, can become a target for adversarial actors.

Russia, already concerned about external threats, has intensified security around Vladimir Putin, banning the use of public transport by his close staff and imposing strict controls on visitors. These measures reflect a growing paranoia among Russian leaders, amid fears of attacks and possible coups.
