Russia announced the deployment of the Oreshnik nuclear missile system in Belarus, a day after accusing Ukraine of a drone attack on Vladimir Putin's residence. Images broadcast by the Russian Ministry of Defense show the missile traversing a forest, with soldiers preparing combat vehicles. Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko stated that ten Oreshnik systems will be stationed in the country, which would reduce the time required for Russian missiles to reach European capitals. At the same time, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov warned that Russia would take retaliatory measures against Ukraine, which has been accused of a 91-drone attack on Putin's palace. The Kremlin has not provided evidence for these accusations, and residents in the area have not reported explosions.
