The Russian Ministry of Defense reported on Saturday that its air defense units intercepted and destroyed 339 Ukrainian drones over a period of 13 hours, between 7:00 AM and 8:00 PM, affecting 13 Russian regions, including Moscow. Among the targeted areas are the Leningrad and Pskov regions in the northwest, as well as areas above the Black Sea.

Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin communicated on Telegram about the air defense actions carried out against the drones, mentioning that an unofficial number indicates the downing of 14 drones that day.

Following these incidents, the Russian civil aviation authority has periodically suspended flights to various airports, with four suspension orders issued for the city of Sochi on the Black Sea.
