The Kremlin claims the conquest of the Ukrainian cities of Pokrovsk and Vovceansk

Russian military commanders informed President Vladimir Putin that the country's armed forces have captured the Ukrainian towns of Pokrovsk and Vovchansk (Vovceansk), located on the front line, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov stated on Monday.
This town has a strategic position, being located at the intersection of several roads and railways leading to the last strongholds of Ukrainian troops in the east of the country.
Ukraine sent reinforcements to Pokrovsk in early November - including Special Forces - and denied any encirclement of Ukrainian troops in the sector.
